On August 13th, the 2024 "Root-Seeking Tour in China" Summer Camp for Overseas Chinese Youth successfully concluded its ten-day program at Guangzhou Open University. The event gathered 40 young overseas Chinese participants from ten countries to immerse themselves in the essence of Lingnan culture. Starting with an introduction to Chinese culture, they gradually had a deep appreciation and culminated in an intimate exploration of its profound traditions. Many participants expressed that the seeds of cultural heritage have been firmly planted in their hearts.
The closing ceremony reached its climax with a cultural performance that showcased the talents of the overseas campers. Dressed in traditional Hanfu, the campers performed rituals and recited classic poetry, embodying the etiquette culture. The female campers displayed sharp and spirited Tai Chi fan dance, while the male campers demonstrated the robust and dynamic steps of Cai Li Fo boxing. The program featured a variety of performances, including the passionate Spanish Paso Doble, the rhythmic allegro show, and the skillful football juggling. These performances captivated the audience with their grace, melody, and agility, immersing them in the vibrant historical narrative of Southern Guangdong and the enduring and profound essence of Chinese culture.
Bian Yong, the secretary and chairman of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Guangzhou, highlighted that the "Root-Seeking Tour" is more than a journey of nostalgia; it is a quest for the true mission and spirit deeply rooted in the profound Chinese culture. He affirmed that the Federation will continue to delve into the core of Chinese culture, align with the new developments of Guangzhou, and tailor the "Root-Seeking Tour in China" Summer Camp to the characteristics of overseas Chinese youth, making it an increasingly vibrant cultural exchange brand.
Xiong Jun, President of Guangzhou Open University, offered heartfelt wishes to the overseas campers, stating, "Despite the physical separation by mountains and rivers, our hearts remain connected, and we support each other and grow stronger in our confidence." In his speech, he emphasized that the Overseas Chinese College of Guangzhou Open University will further leverage its educational strengths, develop high-quality study routes, and enhance exchanges and cooperation to narrate the Chinese story and promote Chinese culture effectively.

10国国外华裔青少年广州探寻之旅圆满收官
8月13日，2024“中国寻根之旅”夏日营（风味南粤——国外华裔青少年走进广州）在广州洞开大学举行闭营典礼。在为期10天的夏日营活动中，来自10个国度的40名国外华裔青少年联袂感受岭南风情，每个营员从了解中国文化、嗜好中国文化，进而深化学习中国文化，再到与中国传统文化伸开亲密斗争。不少营员暗意，“文化传承”的种子照旧深深埋在各人心里。
这天，有位相貌奇特的中年男子也进了这家酒肆，他须髯很美，双眼又大又圆，一身道士打扮，外穿鹤氅，头束总角，此人神采奕奕地来到吕岩面前。
罗马帝国最终在395年分裂为东西两部，东罗马以君士坦丁堡为首都，包括今日的小亚细亚、中东及高加索部分地区，而西罗马则主要包括欧洲和北非地区，皇位也随之分裂。此后，欧洲分为两部，逐渐演变为以英国、法国、德国为代表的“拉丁化”西欧和以俄罗斯、保加利亚为代表的“希腊化”东欧。
今日，国外营员文艺汇演将闭营典礼憎恶推向高涨。合座营员身着汉服演绎礼节文化，朗诵经典诗词；女营员太极扇扮演作为利落，神采飞扬；男营员蔡李佛拳扮演按次肃肃、舒展磅礴。各人展才艺、秀绝活，西班牙斗牛舞、双东说念主快板、足球颠球扮演……唯妙的舞姿、入耳的旋律、聪惠的作为，台上台下的营员和讲解注解们纷纷沉沦在曲声激荡的乐声之中，千里浸在南粤文化鲜美的历史长卷之中，共同感受着中中文化的源源而来、书读五车。
广州市侨联党组布告、主席卞勇暗意，“寻根之旅”寻的不仅是挂家和怀旧，寻的更是植根于中华书读五车文化的真责任和真精神的“根”。广州市侨联将持续深挖中中文化内核，紧扣广州发展新貌，集中国外华裔青少年脾性，将“中国寻根之旅”夏日营这一双外文化相同品牌坚执下去、越办越精彩。
“山水相隔，阻断不了各人心心连系；安危与共，在自信中束缚自立。”广州洞开大学校长熊军为国外营员奉上好意思好道贺。他在发言中提到，广州洞开大学华裔学院将进一步说明办学上风，定制优质研学门道，加强相同与配合，联袂共同讲好中国故事，推崇中中文化。
